Great start to the PA One Book Tour on Monday. I was greeted at Greencastle-Antrim Primary School with amazing Bernard art plastered on every wall. The 300 kindergartners knew my book better than I did! I had a great time, thank you guys!
The kids even wrote their own Bernard stories after being asked what might happen if Bernard left the zoo and snored elsewhere.
Snoring with a little help from my friends.
Thanks fro a great day Grove Family Library, GAPS school, and Lilian S Besore Memorial Library! More pics to come.

  1. That's great. I think any illustrator or writer would feel good to know that their book had made such an impact on their audience. Children may be young but if they don't like something, they let you know. If those kids hated your book you wouldn't keep getting those signs of support.

Their artwork is lovely. I see that you have a few budding writers coming along. Who knows, in a few decades they may be publishing their own books.
