I was asked to do a version of the original "Stay Fuzzy and Hopeful" piece. I had been searching for just the right paper to collage in the background, and Lydia generously provided some beloved 70's era drawer liner that her Mom had used on some shelves in a breakfront we have.
It really made the piece special.
Now it's off to the post office...

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of doing a reading and signing up at Moomah cafe in New York. I also got to sit in on an animation class for six to nine year olds taught by the super talented, stop-motion animator Danielle Ash. After a reading of Stop Snoring, Bernard, the kids drew their own otters or other characters inspired by the book and together they created this sweet little animation.
Here are the little animators hard at work.

It was an amazing and fun afternoon and ended with a delicious sandwich and some wine with old and new friends. Thanks Moomah!
